First Meeting is done!

Following her brothers was harder then OceanRain had thought. While her brothers could travel in the open, she had to follow in hiding. A stallion of a herd would ignore two bachelor stallions, but if a stallion were to see Rain he would persuade her join his herd, most likely by force. So she grumbled as she took a detour, passing through a area where paths criss-crossed, a trail riding area.

It was while she was crossing one of the sandy trails movement came from the forest that she was headed. OceanRain paused, ears pricked foward, waiting. What came out would have spooked most horses into running sprint, a wanting to never return. However, she did not run, a shiver of suprise came over her, but what stopped her from running as the two red eyes in the black head came out the graying forest? OceanRain had a flashback to a story that her father had told her when she was no more then a small filly. His deep voice came back into her mind and she heard him re-telling one of her favorite tales, stories of the Pookas. Pookas where black horses with red eyes that could speak that human language, and played tricks on humans. Rain had always wanted to meet one, but her father said that they were no more.

OceanRain, shook herself back to reality. This was not a Pooka, his head was the only part of him that was black, the rest of his body was a earthy brown and his mane was a white that shone gold in the right light. OceanRain had no fear in her. After hearing the memory of her father in her head she felt as bold and strong as him. She took a step foward, curiosity and kindness in her heart.
